Emily H. Leazer concentrates her practice in taxation, business, estate planning, estate administration and elder law. She has represented clients in audits and collection matters with the Internal Revenue Service, North Carolina, South Carolina, other various state taxing authorities and local taxing authorities. She has successfully assisted clients in obtaining offer in compromises, installment agreements and other payment arrangements with the various taxing authorities. Further, Ms. Leazer assists clients in planning various corporate matters whether it is to incorporate, establish shareholder agreements or develop a business plan and successor planning. Ms. Leazer also assists clients in estate planning and estate administration and elder law. She is a member of the estate planning/administration section and the elder law section. In addition, to holding a law degree, Ms. Leazer is a certified public accountant and has an LLM in Taxation. She is active in professional organizations as well as various community organizations.
